Capable NZ is a key educational area of Otago Polytechnic and was established to better engage clients of Assessment of Prior Learning (APL) services.

We offer APL services in a cost effective manner to individuals, organisations, industry, professional bodies and educational institutions, both nationally and internationally.

Capable NZ has been a world leader in its approach to providing APL as a way of enabling experienced adults to re-engage with education.  We not only assesses against whole qualifications, but also parts of qualification, from certificate through to post graduate level.

We work closely with clients on a partnership basis to ensure that our services help to fulfill their professional goals, and build organisational and individual capability.
